Management System Policy
Eurospuma specialises in the manufacture of polyurethane foams and non-woven fabrics. Mindful of its activity, it is Eurospuma’s priority to satisfy the needs and expectations of its customers and other stakeholders, through the continuous improvement of the efficiency and effectiveness of its processes, as well as to preserve the environment, the health and safety of all those who collaborate with the Organization at its premises and neighbouring communities, and to ensure the objective of having no major accidents involving hazardous substances.
In order to support the implementation of this Management Policy, concerning Quality, Environment, and Major Accident Prevention (MAP), Eurospuma commits to:
- creating an organisational structure with the adequate means and structures for the implementation of a Management System, which enables the Management Policy to be operational;
- systematically assessing the Management System, its processes and activities within the organisation, and periodically defining new objectives in order to improve its performance;
- ensuring the development of its personnel through training and the provision of information so that they may adequately perform their tasks and contribute to the improvement of quality and the environment, as well as respond effectively in emergency situations;
- continuously evaluating the risks to quality, safety, and the environment, with special relevance to those that may be at the root of possible serious accidents involving dangerous substances, in order to eliminate or minimise their negative impacts;
- managing changes to be made to installations that may affect the control of accident risks, with particular emphasis on the risk of major accidents involving dangerous substances;
- adopting, whenever feasible, techniques and technology that enable the company to monitor the evolution of markets and customer requirements, and implementing procedures that ensure the execution of activities, and the operation of facilities and equipment in safe and environmentally friendly conditions;
- establishing a commitment to protecting the environment, working to prevent and control pollution through the integrated management of the waste it produces, the efficient use of energy and resources, so as to minimise the environmental impact of activities and products;
- reviewing the Management Policy at scheduled intervals with a view to continuous improvement and ensuring its suitability;
- meeting compliance obligations regarding customer, regulatory, legal, and other requirements applicable to Eurospuma.
The Management Policy is communicated, recognised, and maintained at all levels of the Organisation.
Our Environmental Management System is certified according to ISO 14001:2015 and the Quality Management System according to ISO 9001:2015, recognised by TÜV Rheinland.
