-As a certified company, what environmental care do we take in our processes?
A: Eurospuma, as well as each of us, must increasingly introduce the environmental criterion in its decision-making, in the options it makes. The world is showing us how important the protection of the environment is for the continuity of human life as we know it.
Thus, and specifically at Eurospuma, in addition to legal compliance from an environmental point of view, we also bet on environmental certification by the ISO EN NP 14001 standard. This commitment to everyone leads us to go beyond the legislation, taking us on a path of continuous improvement. An example of this is the rethinking of the type of packaging that is used, asking ourselves if we can reduce materials, change materials, study alternatives of less dangerous chemicals, among others. In essence, contributing to reducing our environmental footprint. And this in all processes. Even in those that seem to be unrelated to the environment, as long as they consume resources such as energy, paper, water, there is always an action to protect the environment that can be done. Each piece of waste that is well classified, identified and sent to the right place is a step taken in caring for the environment (in addition to being an obligation, it is an attitude, a way of being). Each person attentive to their surroundings is a step in caring for the environment, which is why it is so important to carry out actions to raise awareness about the role of each of us in the life cycle of Eurospuma products.
- How do we uphold our commitment to sustainability (certificates, internal routines, participation and projects, etc.)?
A: Our commitment to sustainability is concrete and current, it is here and now, but always with a view to the future and the legacy we may want to leave. The concept of sustainability is very broad and focuses on different aspects of an organization's life. It is important for Eurospuma to evaluate the fulfillment of this commitment and, in this way, we invest in operational control, in the evaluation and monitoring of the changes we want, in the verification through audits and monitoring of the defined objectives. Open to innovation in view of the best practices and technologies available, we participate in projects that allow us to acquire knowledge to evolve in a sustainable way, both for the Organization and for the environment and all the surroundings. It is in the action of each one that we grow as a community, as a working group, as agents of change. It is a path we want to take.
