- How does our quality management system operate (what is the standard)? What areas does quality control focus on?
A: Eurospuma's management system (SG) is based on 2 normative references (ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015), complemented by principles established in product assurance certifications, namely OEKO-TEX, and guiding principles for the prevention of major accidents (PAG).
The SG consists of a set of processes, procedures, work instructions and other documents (including records), being an instrument for better compliance with specifications, contractual determinations, as well as legal and other requirements.
Quality control is carried out at all stages, from the receipt of the order to its dispatch, through the selection of suppliers and their raw materials and also ensuring operational control at all stages of industrial processes.
All processes are analysed, evaluated and continuously improved. Process performance is continuously monitored through performance indicators and analysed periodically to define improvement and/or correction actions.
- What difference does the implementation of an SG make in organisational terms?
A: The implementation of the SG allowed Eurospuma to:
- Establish procedures for quality assurance in the products developed;
- Respond to the needs and expectations of all stakeholders in order to ensure their trust, loyalty and satisfaction;
- Ensure the safety of both the facilities and the product produced;
- Ensure compliance with applicable requirements (legal, regulatory and customer);
- Ensure the reliability of its products and its working methods;
- Promote continuous improvement throughout the supply chain.
- In terms of products, what guarantees do you get from being certified?
A: Eurospuma wants to guarantee its customers and other partners a high level of confidence in the products manufactured. For this reason, we have implemented the SG and certified the company according to the ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 standards and also the OEKO-TEX certification.
Certification by an external entity (at Eurospuma by TÜV Rheinland) is very important for all organisations, since it presupposes the evaluation of the SG by an independent and impartial entity, which expresses a conviction as to the constant level of quality offered by the organisation and that it complies with the normative requirements.
- How do we manage complaints?
A: Eurospuma's MS includes procedures geared towards handling complaints, as well as all communication that comes from customers and stakeholders.
Eurospuma recognises the importance of this issue and that is why we have developed a computer application to ensure the handling of all situations. With this application, it is possible to manage all occurrences with all stakeholders/responsible parties, in an efficient way and thus respond and avoid the occurrence of similar situations.
